Error management SAP ECC iDOC from CCOM

Dear Support,

We have CCO V12 PL08.

We are currently interfacing SAP Customer CheckOut Manger with SAP ECC, and tes messages iDocs WPUBON et WPUFIB :

But the iDOC WPUBON doesn’t create a sales order is SAP ECC. Checking the the system we read that SAP RETAIL should be activated.

But we can not activate SAP retail, since it as to much implication.

Is there a way to create a sales order form iDOC WPUBON without activation SAP retail?

Hello dake,

it is true, that the "retail flag" in SAP ECC is mandatory for ECC to consume WPU* IDocs. The reason for that is, that the necessary POS Interface which handles these IDocs is only available in Retail mode.

If you do not have the option to activate the retail mode in ECC the only option I know is, to have the IDocs send to a SAP PO/PI/CPI. This integration layer than consumes the IDocs and transform them into the necessary MBGMCR for all stock transactions and for the FI you may need to ask your customer, which IDoc they expect for FI transactions.
