Hello Experts!
I have a scenario to define the customer's most frequent marketing location. I did find application job named 'Enrich Contacts with Interactions Marketing Location'. I have run the job and the log says 1 contact was successfully updated with marketing location. My question is: where can I see this information? I couldn't find any field or attribute in the customer profile showing the marketing location.
I also found this similar question but there was no answer to it.
On segmentation I found a couple of fields that i thought might work (ACCOUNT_MARKETINGLOCATIONEXTERNALID) but I got no success in the segmentation whatsoever.
Can anyone guide me on how to use the 'marketing location for contacts' functionality?
Thanks a lot,
Guilherme.

Hi Guilherme,
To see the contact marketing location data in the system, the only option available at this time would be to go through segmentation. To find the marketing location information on the contact, you can use LOCATION_NAME, LOC_ID, LOC_ORIGIN, LOC_ORIGIN_DESC, LOC_TYPE, and LOC_TYPE_DESC.
You can also use the IA_PROJ_LOC* attributes to find marketing location on the account.
If you have a requirement to see the marketing data in other areas besides the segmentation, please consider submitting this as a feature request through our customer influence tool.
Regards,
Jenn

Hi,
I didn't know this job existed before, as I learned about it from the What's New of 2005.
The what's new mentions:
Analysis of contact marketing locations enables you to better understand and target audiences for follow-up campaigns.
New Marketing Location attributes are now available and can be added to the All Contacts, All Consumers and All Accounts and Contacts segmentation profiles:
The following attributes are available:
For more information, see Marketing Locations and Contacts: Enrich Contacts with Interactions' Marketing Location.
So we checked out the job.
We want to use it for "most frequent location".
However, in the Date Range the maximum we can choose is 14 days.
Can't we calculate the most frequent marketing location on a longer period, like a couple of months or even a year?

Hi saurabhkabra2009, if it's not a dynamic date range then it's not useful.
We just want to know the marketing location a customer has most frequently visited over the past 6 months. But that should be 6 months relative to today. 14 days is really too short to calculate a most frequently visited location.
