Enabling existing custom fields for different usages like for forms

Hi Team,

For creating new custom fields, we can use 'Custom Fields and Logic App' and enable usages for different functions. But we've, in the past, created many custom fields through appending structure ZCUAN_CE_IC_ROOT. How can we use already created custom fields for different usages like forms etc. so that historical data is preserved.
