Enable offer attributes in Segmentation

Dear experts,

I could not find any data source or attributes related to Offer and Coupons to be enabled and used in Segmetation.

I found this question from a couple of years ago and I was wondering if there is something new that I'm not aware of. Has anyone been able to use offer/coupons in segmetation? How?

Hi Luis,

as far as I know there's still no data source that includes the offer-id or something like that by default. At least I haven't found anything, too.

I think the approach is the same that Joyca provided in the other question: you have to build a custom view using the field OFFER_ID from table CUAND_CE_IA_OFFR.

Unfortunately, no, between then and now no standard segmentation sources related to offers were added... We should probably add this on Customer Influence though.

Yeah, it is absolutely available in 2011 release. Set it up in our QA instance already

Check on the Segmentation Configuration app -> Seg Object -> Consumers

Once there navigate to the Attribute Groups and ensure SAP_CE_OFFER and SAP_CE_COUPON are available (not available on all Objects... Interactions, very disappointingly excluded)

Once confirmed, arrange Sequence as required

Navigate to Assigned Data Sources, then I used SAP_CE_IC_CONTACT as my data source - mark the fields as visible (Attribute and/or Export and/or Dimension)

Then save your changes, create a new model and you are good to go
