The relative search criteria "Functional Units in My Area" is really great but for some reasons it takes also into account empty sales units...
Is it possible to get rid of them? (I have a workaround by adding a second time the sales unit field to the datasource and add a fixed criteria to not select empty ones but this is really a dirty one).
Request clarification before answering.
Dear Arthur,
Thx for your answer.
I understand it, but do not fully agree with the logic.
To me it is more logical to create a filter to find these leads/opportunities without sales unit when required rather then finding them when looking for leads/opportunities in the sales unit(s) a user is responsible for.
This morning, I created an entry in the influence platform to change this: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/idea/213096
Thx again for you answer and best regards,

Hello Claude,
I hope you are doing well, I have performed some research on this specific subject and also some tests in our testing systems, however, this seems a standard behavior when the selection criteria 'Functional Units in My Area' is used for reporting, since it takes into consideration all the possible entries for that, even though these are empty sales units in this scenario.
For that, our recommendation would be to use the workaround you achieved, since it is the same workaround we usually provide to our customers which face similar scenarios in the system. The Report/Data Source first select all the records using the 'Functional Units in My Area' and then filter these values based on the workaround.
In case you need any further assistance, please leave a comment below 🙂
