Hi experts
A query:
In the case that an email campaign is generated to a specific target group, for example 20 company accounts, of which 10 of these accounts have the same contact and by default the same email account.
To this contact linked to 10 company accounts, how many emails from the same campaign does he receive?
Only one? or 10 emails, one for each account you are linked to?
Thanks for your help
Best regards

Hello,
Even I haven't check this functionality on my own, but, based on Tobias's explanation above I would also think that multiple emails should be triggered.
However, I also see a note https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2448963 that talks about how to restrict the number of emails sent to the same contact person. Hence you can just check what happens when you set the count to 1 for "Per Reference Object" as email and then execute the camapign.

Hi Elio,
what do you mean with linked? Are you using the new Contact-To-Account-Relationship functionality for Business Partners and are working with projections? So, did you create your target group based on the relationships?
Or do you have the origin EMAIL configured as shareable so that it could be used from more than one contact and have 10 different Contacts (each one linked to another Account) with the same email address?
Anyway, I would say in both cases there are 10 emails that should go out. I will try to test and verify the second case.

Hello,
In order to enable "Per Reference Object" option for the email attribute you also need to make the following adjustment in the segmentation profile.
1. Go to segmentation configuration and select the segmentation object that you want to change. Here you need to define a "Secondary Distinction Entities" using ADD button. Select the relevant data source and position. Finally, click CREATE.
2. Navigate to the created entity and now click ADD key for the distinct entity as shown. Here you need to select Email as the key.
Save your changes.
3. GO to Segmentation and now you should be able to see the "Per Reference Object" as shown:
Hope that helps!
