Edit Custom Field without opening adaptation in Fiori UI? [C4C]

Normally, a custom extension field can be edited via opening the adaptation. In Fiori screen adaptation, we can end the adaptation and the edit screen for the custom field will still be there.

That makes me wonder if there's a way to edit custom fields without opening the adaptation. Is there a way to do that?

Hello Kemal,

Editing a field can mean many things.

You can only Edit fields through:

• Adaptation (Admin/Key user)
• Personalization (End user)
• Solution Studion/SDK (Developer) if feilds are created via SDK.

You cannot Edit fields on the fly without going into ADAPT or Personalize mode. Additionally I assume you know there are limitation on what you can do with each mode.
