E-mail service provider for Marketing Cloud

Is it possible to use Office 365 SMPT server with SAP Hybris marketing On-Prem.

If possible please share any config guide for the same.

In my experience, I haven't seen any scenario with Office 365 SMPT integration. I don't think it's possible!!

Could you please explain how you're planning to use it, or the business scenario!?

To configure Office 365 SMTP with SAP Hybris Marketing On-Premise:

1. Log in to SAP Hybris Marketing and navigate to Administration -> Communication Management -> Communication Systems.
2. Create a New Communication System:
   • Set Host Name: smtp.office365.com
   • Port: 587
   • Enable TLS/SSL
   • Enter your Office 365 email and password.
3. Save and Test by sending a test email.

In SCOT (SAPconnect):

1. Activate SMTP service using SMICM -> GOTO -> Services.
2. Create an SMTP node in SCOT:
   • Mail Host: smtp.office365.com
   • Port: 587
   • Enable TLS.
3. Monitor using SOST.
4. Alternative SMTP server- SMTPget

It's recommended to integrate with SAP Digital Interconnect, Digitalaka™ or another ESP supported by SAP Marketing Cloud's standard integration.

Hi Anitha,

Marketing requires HTTP node for bulk sending the emails. The internal approval workflow emails can be done over smtp however the way it’s designed to work for bulk mails is over http.

As far as I know, it is not (yet) possible.

Best is to integrate with SAP Digital Interconnect, Amazon SES or any other ESP for which SAP Marketing Cloud provides a standard integration.
