E-mail for Sales Quote Output populate to activities e-mail workcenter\outlook

Dear experts.

Can you please clarify is it possible after Sales Quote were Submitted and output e-mail were automatically sent to customer to copy or just populate this e-mail in workcenter Activities - E-mails?

The second question: In our scenario the e-mail address of the Employee Responsible are using as a sender. Is it possible to have a sender a copy of e-mail at least in inbox? Ideally we would like to have e-mail in send items of sender.

Hi,

It is not possible to see the email message sent (when Sales Quote is submitted) in activities work center because it is not an activity where sales rep is interacting with customers. It is generated by the system. Hence SAP does not show such emails in Activities work center.

For other question about having employee responsible, as the CC recipient of sales quote, please consider the idea of Prasanth as mentioned above via BADI Implementation for DocumentOutputRequest.

You can manually change the recipient and Output settings (from actions --> edit Output settings)

Alternatively , you can use a PDI implementation on DocumentOutputRequest Business Object, and design how the output should go based on your requirement, but this end to end implementation needs to be handled by Customer.

Hi,

I am not sure what your actual target and challenge is, but did you investigate the option of setting up a workflow rule for an additional mail message?

In a workflow you can select the object (quote), define the condition (status), rule type (e-mail), the creation of an email activity, a sender email (owner of the sales quote), the recipient determination (Accounts Contact of Sales Quote or the Owner of the sales quote) etc.

Actually we were trying to understand standard behavior or possible customizing.

For now we are not considering workflow rule for an additional e-mail.
