E-Commerce Order fulfillment process

I need to integrate commerce with ERP and 3rd party ERP sends stock and prices... If i want to do the 3rd party to do the fulfilment ... i have 1 of the 3 options below.. which is possible to be done and what is the best? 1. use API to create consignment ... but is it possible? how? 2. Custom fulfilment process 3. make the 3rd party send IDOCs to the datahub with consignments instead of ERP

Team Griffin has more context and knowledge in this area but my impression is that you should be able to create consignments. If you can't, let team Stout know - this may be a missing feature.

Overall, try to use the Integration API instead of DataHub, unless it's absolutely not possible.
