Dynamic Change of Member data in Target Group on Campaign Execution

Hi guys,

On yMKT On-Prem system.

Our requirement is to change the Email Address of Target Group Members during Campaign Execution.

I am not able to find any BAdi for the same.

Could you please guide how to achieve this ?

Please elaborate on this requirement from a business perspective. Why would you want to change master data as part of the campaign execution?

Hi Theodor Lungstras.

This is for sanity checks as we wont be changing any master data, we just want to change/mask it with a dummy one in runtime for the members. So in runtime of Campaign Execution ( or maybe Target Group Generation ), the email addresses will change to a dummy one without touching the master data.

We wont be doing this in prod, just in quality.

Hi Devashish,

You can do by customizing the send email action but my question would be same as Theo, what is the business requirement for this?

Why not maintain the required email address in the customer master data itself rather than dynamically changing the email at run time.

Hi Devashish,

Do you want to send emails to these customers with Dummy addresses or you do not want to send them emails at all but want them still in the campaign's segmentation model.

If i get it correct, You want to prevent test emails being sent out to actual customers?

If so you can use the campaign execution whitelist app and maintain the allowed list of email addresses, which will block all other emails without worrying about the conversion of the master data of customer.
