Duplicate Order Id getting generated on Production environment

Hello, In my production environment, a strange issue has been observed after i create order through groovy script from back end incrementing the order id by 1 taking the last generated order id as reference. The same order id is generated when a user places order from the site. Although Hybris doesn't allows duplicate order id, but in my case it has allowed. What could be the possible reasons for this behaviour. Thnak you

  • It can be related to clustering, if it is not configured correctly.

  • Is can also be that the user double clicks on the order button, which causes 2 orders.
