Drool rule not getting reloaded to current Drools module

Issue : When a promotion is being published from Source rule, its drool is created , everything is fine, but suddenly after sometime, promotion stops working (stops showing the messages , discounts which it was supposed to). In backoffice, everything is fine, drool is still present, in active state, promotion is still published. I have to republish the promotion again to get it start working. On further RCA it is observed, that when this promotion has stopped working, if I click on the "Reload drools rule" button, which is present on drols rule itself of this promo, It it says : "The rule will be reloaded into the current Drools module. Do you want to continue" , on clicking ok, it starts working ! So it seems that my drools rule was not in current module. Is there a solution for this? Also, this situation is happening on one environment and not all.

HI Matthias,

Thanks for the link. My issue is not after server restart. It is intermittent, and is happening anytime it wants to happen! So it does not have a pattern anywhere. I'll still try added the fix given. - Thanks .

One more thing that I noticed when this issue occurs is that the rule version of my drools rule suddenly changes . So let's say that when this issue happened, my rule version was 296, now I saw this issue, i went to backoffice in drool rule and clicked on "reload drools rule" button, now the rule version changed to 297. This shows, that the drools module changed sometime back, just my promotion was not updated to that rule version. - May be this will help.

: Hi Anjali, Did you find a resolution for your problem? I am running into the same intermittent problem where applied promotions are dropped from the users cart.
