Hi,
in SAP Marketing Cloud standard, if a Download (e.g. Webinar Download) is provided in a form, the Download-Link is shown as soon as the user clicks on "send" in the form.
In our scenario we want to provide the Download only when the contact has given the double opt-in.
So what we actually need would be for example different confirmation mails with links that lead to different sites where the Webinar can be downloaded.
So what would be the best approach to provide a download in SAP Marketing Cloud after a double opt-in?

Request clarification before answering.
Well, since you insist on tying it to the double opt-in that would be the consequence. You could try to use several download elements with different items of interest and a URL like "#" (Which does nothing at all) and then find a clever segmentation logic based on my initial suggestion 😉 There is also another Influence Request which is on status 'Accepted' on interests for other interactions on a form: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/idea/219122

Hi arne.manthey,
okay I will investigate that approach with the Marketing Team.
But in any case I have to create a separate Form/Landing Page for every Download, right?
So it's not possible to send different emails based on different Download checkboxes that have been marked on the Landing Page.
Further question: is it somehow possible to send ONE Confirmation-mail for multiple Permission Opt-ins/Subscriptions that have been given on the same Landing Page (e.g. email opt-in, phone opt-in, newsletter subscription)?

OK, then I suggest you investigate the following approach:
I assume that you are using a subscription for the double opt-in? If you want to use the normal permission opt-in then you might need to activate that interaction (MKT_PERM_OPTIN) in the configuration as a campaign trigger

Hi arne.manthey,
yes we want to have the double opt-in before the contact should be able to download the content.

First a question: Do you really want to have a double opt-in as precondition or do you just want to send an email with the download link instead of an immediate download?
