Double Opt-in (DOI) process in Emarsys - Howto

Dear Experts,

We want to configure the Double Opt-in (DOI) process in Emarsys, but only little public information about this process is available. We can only find the following Emarsys Help Page:

Thats why we have two questions:
Are there any blog posts or similar sources about this topic? And if not: Is it really necessary to set up the external Event trigger API call or is there an alternative to configure the DOI process in Emarsys without an API call?

Hi jsr2022,

I don't know of any blogs or similar, but how you set up your DOI program depends on how you collect your initial registration. You only have to set up an external event API call if that is necessary - otherwise the automated program can be triggered by a form submission or whatever other method you use.
