Does CCO run on Linux?

Hello,

We have a customer that wants to implement CCO. They use PCs in their 14 stores based on Linux (Ubuntu). Can we install or emulate the CCO application in this hardware?

Hello,

For SAP Customer Checkout, we support only windows. We do not have experience with linux for SAP Customer Checkout. Also hardware devices like printer, barcode scanner etc we have not tested with linux. Some of our developers use SAP Customer Checkout on MAC though. However MAC is also officially not supported.

For SAP Customer Checkout manager, we support windows. Here we plan to support Linux as some of our customers are already running on Linux. However i cannot make a commitment when this will be officially released. Accordingly to current plan this might happen end of May 2020.

Hello Bikash!

It would be nice if one of the developers could share the process of installing CCO on Mac OS, maybe in a blog post some day. I would think that many of the steps will be the same for Linux, too.
