Distribution Rule to be filled for the Invoices From Checkout Based on Item Group

Hi Guys,

We are using SAP B1 9.3 PL08 with SAP Customer Checkout 2.0 FP07 FL08 with Integration framework scenarios 4.0.04.

We are having Brand Distribution Rule in B1 system which needs to popup based on the Item group in the distribution field for the Invoices coming from CCO. But we can map only one value for the distribution field per one counter which is available in Integration Tab of checkout configurations. Kindly let us know if we can achieve this. Also kindly provide detailed steps of scenario development if it is achievable through scenario extension. Kindly help us in the scenario development.

Thanks,

Alok.

Hello Alok,

We have had a similar requirement, where we needed the second dimension to be sent, and in the end we decided to run a daily batch job using DTW to update the second dimension in the journal entries themselves. In our case the rule was easy (the same CostingCode2 for all items). In your case, if you want to do this by brand, you may need to enable the option to generate one journal entry line per document line so you can update the journal entry by batch later.

Of course, as you said, you can also modify the integration scenario, which isn't too hard if you know your way around B1iF, but can be difficult if you have never worked with it. See these "Developer resources" for more information:

Since I did not find a pending improvement request, I also proceeded to create one. Kindly vote for it if you think it is useful: https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/idea/242443

Joerg.

Hello Vishnu and Alok,

joerg.ceo has explained this in excellent way.
This can be done via B1if extension scenarios for SAP Customer Checkout. However you do need experience in that.
We have built several examples for B1if extensions and using that one can achieve something similar.
Joerg pointed correctly to the resources.
