Different Origins in one Database - SAP Marketing Cloud

Hello Experts,

The questions is a consulting one.

I have one customer master source of truth for all the different integrated systems. Which means all the different systems have common ids. eg. Commerce has ERP Account ID as their commerce account id, C4C has ERP Account ID as their C4C account id.

To trigger the contact data from ERP to Mkt, i should also have the C4C and Commerce Id, Therefore it is best to add these C4C and Commerce as Facet and their id's as origin id? So that if their is any transaction data/outbound data flws from marketing to these C4C/Commerce system then those system can identify the ids of the account and link it?

Hi Mayanek,

you are absolutely right. In your case it is required to import additional combinations for ID Origin + ID for C4C and commerce. In order to do so one must use the function import of the ODATA CUAN_BUSINESS_PARTNER_IMP_SRV. This ODATA is anyway used when integrating ERP accounts and contacts into marketing.

Hi Josef,

Thanks for your feedback. but we are manipulating the origin Id in the SCPI to match in Marketing cloud. Therefore in our scenario we have one Origin ID for SAP S4. Whenever we are getting any transactional data from C4C/Commerce we are checking the origin as S4 origin only.

This will also work..
