There are a couple of things which i noticed when I tried to add some content (HTML code) to description attribute for categories :
1. All the image tags ( <img> tags) which were present in the given HTML code and was imported as content on description attribute never persisted in source code for the given category.
2. Whenever we tried to edit the description of the given category (which consists of images in its description) from SAP backoffice, after saving the same, all the images so associated with description [attribute] which initially were being viewed on storefront disappeared. Thereby restricting the user/customer to edit category description (which consists of images) from backoffice
We haven't customized anything for description [attribute] of category. It is an OOTB behaviour.
Platform being used : SAP Hybris. (1811)
Can anyone provide a solution for the same as it seems to be critical and as well as strange?
