I am trying to deploy a custom app from the BTP (former SCP) WebIDE to the SAP Marketing Cloud ABAP repo in order to integrate the app into the Fiori Launchpad.
I right click the application in the WebIDE, select "Deploy > Deploy to SAPUI5 ABAP Repository".
I select the configured SAP Marketing Cloud destination using basic authentication with a technical user from scenario 0206:

However, I receive the error message "No authorization to access resource /sap/bc/adt/discovery":

Within the portal service I also added the TENANT_ADMIN role to my BTP user since I read that this may be the issue. Within the SAP Marketing Cloud I can access/download the /sap/bc/adt/discovery file with my user.
Furthermore, I tried to set up the destination with NoAuthentication. However, then I get this:

Thanks for any suggestion on how to solve this!

Really good use case 🙂
But not sure if you can enable it like this... I guess the only way will be custom tile and adding a link to the application. Bad thing is you would have to care about authentication etc. on your own

Hey maik_bosch,
this is what we are currently doing...
Having some custom tile pointing to the deployed application. However, you "jump out of the Marketing Cloud" and need to enter credentials for the BTP. That's why we hoped deploying to the MC is possible...

In addition I remember that I had some time back the idea to work with SAP Cloud Portal service. see
So basically to create a new Launchpad in which you add the tiles from SAP Marketing and of your new app or other services. But I remember that I was stuck after some time because of restrictions on SAP Marketing Cloud side. Maybe this is outdated and it can work now 🙂 Have fun exploring
Hey maik_bosch,
thanks for that point. That worked quite easy. I deployed the app from the BTP WebIDE to SAP Fiori Launchpad. It was then added to a custom Launchpad. Obiously it's not the Marketing Cloud launchpad but a separate one which requires the BTP credentials as login. But this may be an alternative for us! Thank you!
I will keep the topic open. Maybe we find some solution for deploying and embedding the app directly to the Marketing Cloud.
