Deploy/ Build SAP Marketing Cloud Views in BAS

Hello community,

i am trying to model custom views for SAP Marketing Cloud.

Since a few month i have to use the new BAS to create custom views.

After the setup of the BAS i imported the data that i exported from the marketing cloud system before.

Then i have deployed the HDBTABLES folder, that contains the table definitions from the marketing system.

Finally i want to deploy the calculation views. In the SAP WEB IDE i had to build the "sap" folder to get this done. Unfortunately, the BAS does not contain a "build selected files" function. I could only deploy the data, but this does not run and i always get errors. Also, if i try to deploy one single standard view i get errors.

What do i have to do to deploy/ build the standard views to use them in my custom views?

Hello

I have had this issue before, for me it was how the tables were referenced by the imported view. For instance, hdbtables::CUAND_CE_IA_RT was referenced as HDBTABLES::CUAND_CE_IA_RT, all I had to do was change the prefix from uppercase to lower case. To do this, you will need to open your calculation view in Code Editor Mode.

thank you for your fast answer.

Unfortunately i was able to deploy the tables under the hdbtables folder but could not deploy the SAP standard views under the "sap" folder.

Dear kunalkumar.bansal,

as described in this community post i am supposed to use the Business Application Studio for SAP Hana View development with a cloud foundry trial user.

I cannot use the WEB IDE to create new custom views.

And in the BAS it is unpossible to build/deploy the SAP Marketing standard views.
