Hi all,
We have a scenario where our customer creates a quote in C4C and it gets replicated to ERP. Some other user modifies that quote document in ERP and we need those changes to get replicated back to C4C.
First of all do you think this is possible in standard and if yes how?
So far we have have done the configuration as follows; (WE20 transaction)
Message Type COD_REPLICATE_SALES_ORDER
Under Message Control we have;
Application V1
Message Type COD4
Process Code COD_SALES_ORDER_REPLICATE
and we have two entries one Change Message selected and one not selected.
We have two cases;
1. Only one entry without Change Message not selected.
A new quotation is created when we change the quotation in ERP. This is not what we need.
2. Only one entry with Change Message selected.
We get an error message which says: "No Partner Profiles (message control) maintained."
Any help is appreciated. Also if anyone has any documentation for this topic that would be great as well.
Regards
Emre
Request clarification before answering.
Dear Emre,
You need to have 2 entries in Message Control in Partner Profile(WE20) for the Process Code COD_SALES_ORDER_REPLICATE, one with Change message selected and another without selected, with same message type COD4.
And make sure that once the delta change IDoc is triggered to C4C, it does contain C4C QuoteID under the element REF_DOC. And also make sure this value is mapped properly in your middleware to target element ID under the node BusinessTransactionDocumentReference.
With this BusinessTransactionDocumentReference, C4C can understand that its the same quote which has to be updated, not create a new one.
Hope this helps.
