I wonder if there is any way to delete an opportunity from Sales Cloud that has been mistakenly created (the right way was to convert a lead - an opp has been directly created instead). Thank you!

Hello vkgabriella,
Yes, you can delete Opportunities from SAP Sales Cloud, provided no follow-up documents are created for that Opportunity yet. In case follow up documents exist for the Opportunity already, you need to delete the the follow-up document first, and then attempt to delete the Opportunity.
To delete an Opportunity, you need to follow the below steps:
In case you want to delete a huge number of Opportunities, you can use the Data Workbench function.
Please refer the Knowledge Base Article https://apps.support.sap.com/sap/support/knowledge/public/en/2533334 which explains how to delete Sales Data of an Account. The steps to delete an Opportunity are identical - instead of selecting the Account object in steps 3 and 7, you would need to select the Opportunity object instead.
Hope that answers your query.
Kind Regards,
Nishanth
