Deleting a custom field

Dear experts,

to delete a custom field you have to remove all references to the field first. I struggle to find any information on what "references" refers to in that context, though. Is removing the custom field from segmentation and deactivating the functions in the columns in the Custom Field menu enough?

Dear Nils,

If you simply try to delete the field, it will automatically show you the dependencies.

1. Now, Remove those usage of the Custom Field in Score Attributes in UIs and Reports and other usages.
2. Publish it and then try to Delete it.

If still you're not able to delete, raise an incident to SAP.

Hi Kunal,

I already removed the usages in score attributes and UIs and reports. During my first try the field just got deleted, there were no dependencies shown.

Hope that means everything is fine!

Yes, you should be able to delete the field.

Hope you have removed dependencies with Custom Views (Assignment in Segmentation) as well if any?
