Delete detailed logging

Dear all,

Are there clear instructions on how to delete the detailed logging after they have been activated as stated here: Note 2166563

The reason I am asking is because I know that these logs grow significantly fast and this has an effect on the performance and can quickly even lock everything. I know because this has happened before.

Hi Clayton,

Section 3 of 2166563 explains how to turn off detailed logging, and internal tasks should clean up the logs based on a schedule. Please also check SAP note 1873607 to verify your settings. This note also explains how to reduce the DB size if the internal tasks do not handle the clean up due to the volume of data.
