Delete Custom Dimension Values

Dear Experts,

is there any way to delete Custom Dimension Values in SAP Marketing Cloud?

For budget planning in 2020 we need the same custom dimension as in 2019 but we do not need all of the values we needed in 2019.

Or do I need to create a new custom dimension and assign it to the new planning model and import the values for 2020?

Any other good ideas how to achieve this?

Unfortunately this is currently not possible as mentioned below

You can create a new planning model and de-activate the old one with old dimention values.

But then I also always have to create a new custom dimension every year and import the needed values for that year, right?

Hi Tobias,

Looks like but SAP has also said in the same FAQ blog that it is in their short term road map. May be isabelle.thore can confirm about this.

But for now yes you are correct.

We know about this gap and we are looking into providing a way to allow deletion of custom dimension values. However, I cannot provide any details on the timeline at this point.
