Define Rules for sales quote Parties not working when used Approver Party Role

Hi Experts,

I am using "Define Rules for sales quote Parties" for determining the party based on certain Fields in Sales Quote. But it is not working, when i used the "Approver Party Role". The same is working when i used the custom defined involved party Role. Is this the Standard Behavior?

Regards,
Bharathraj

The system should also copy the standard Approver party role, maintained in the Opportunity, to the follow-up Sales Quote. In general the following is valid: the system copies the active party roles to follow-up transactions, if the party roles also exist in the successor party schema.

In case your determination does not work, I recommend to open an incident.

Hi Guenter Wilmer,

Thanks for the support!
Will create a incident to SAP.

If the standard Approver Party can be selected in the rules, there should be no restriction. Please make sure to activate the determination step accordingly.

Hi Guenter Wilmer,

The Party Role and Rule is already activated. Still it is not working.
The similar config i have tried with Custom involved party, it is working.

Also, I tried one more testing, I determined the approver in opportunity by the rule. When i tried to create a followup for the opportunity, the approver is not copied to sales quote, though i have activated in involved parities in sales quote.
