Hello

I have a report that is automatically generate and sent as an attachment to an email via the Broadcast capability.

Is there anyway of setting the format of the date field for a specific report (ie. not change the format for all reports). For this particular report I'd like it to be dd/mm/yyyy rather than dd.mm.yyyy.

Is this possible?

Thanks

Lisa

Hello Lisa,

There are two possible scenarios, if you are using 'User-specific' functionality or not.

--> If you are not using 'User-specific' functionality, the report broadcasted will have settings (i.e. language and date format) determined by the settings of the user who creates the broadcast.

--> If you are using 'User-specific' functionality, the report will have those report settings (i.e. language and date format) according to the end user settings if the recipient has an user in the system. However, please note if recipients without an user in the solution receive data created with the authorizations and also settings of the user who has created the broadcast

Currently, the system does not have an option to apply date formats of brodcasted report for a specific report if they are created by the same user. It will apply for all broadcasts created by an user or it will depend in the end user settings.

As an alternative, you can try using one specific user to broadcast a specific report with those settings you desire. However, please note those settings will be applied for all broadcasts created by this user.

I hope this answers your query.

Best regards,

Igor

Hi Lisa,

This is not possible. I guess your user settings (Settings - My Settings) are used when creating this report. In the report view nor the broadcast it can be adjusted. What you could try is to use a user / employee for which the user settings default set to dd/mm/yyyy
