DATAHUB EXTENSION DEBUG

Hi,

I want to debug my custom extension of datahub in ee.

I know we have to change debug port number in ee so that there is no conflict in debugging of Hybris and Datahub.

Can anyone give me detail steps of how to do it ? Please let me know if we can debug standard jar provided by hybris for Datahub.

Hi Sarath, Is datahub war deployed in separate web server (tomcat) ?

Hi Sarath,

 If data hub deployed in tomcat,

1. Create main class in custom extension and run main class with debug mode than add debug points required classes.

2. Next run data hub server in debug mode.

same trick worked for me.

There are various options which help to debugging datahub environment such as logging, REST calls, direct SQL queries to DH database.
