Datahub end of life (EOL) / other integration options?

Do someone know when datahub will be replaced with other SAP integration module or orther details about his future? This is a rumor I read some week ago in a answer from SAP to a SAP ticket.

Are there other standard integration options in order to integrate SAP ERP with Hybris?

It is a useful info when our customers ask us upgrade projects.
