Data Workbench - Contact Insert

Dear Experts,

I am trying to Insert contact into C4C system using ''Data Workbench". As mentioned in ''https://help.sap.com/http.svc/rc/d9e23558915e4f21900065cf4cd64fbe/1805/en-US/FAQ_Data_Workbench.pdf"(Q:37) I left the External Key as blank.

But the upload is failing with error the 'External Key is missing'.

As per our business process, the key users from different region may perform the contact upload, So it will be difficult to keep track on External key.

Do I miss any step here, Please help me with any other option to perform import without ExternalKey.
