Data Loading in E-Mail from SAP Marketing

Hello Community,

I have a technical question for SAP Marketing. I created an E-Mail for customers with a personalized coupon. Does the system sends the mail with the data of the coupon loaded or does it load the data while the customer opens the mail?

So is the whole mail created on server side or client side?

To answer your question simply, emails are finalized on the server side.

Hallo Kunal,

how about the case, that the customer clicks the link to open the mail in the browser. Does the mail contain a file with the whole information (static as well as atributes) or is it build/ finalized while opening it?

That is also a server-side file generated at run time when clicked.
