Hello,

What I heard so far about Data Hub is this.. SAP direction to use the Data Hub in the future for the integration between Hybris and SAP. Today I heard from one of my friend saying that SAP going to stop the Data Hub in the future. Is that correct? If SAP going to stop the Data Hub in the future what is the direction for integration?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your responses. In the future can we use the SAP cloud platform integration even for On-Premise? I thought we can use Cloud platform integration if the commerce is installed on cloud.

SCPI can be embedded in PI, so yes, that would allow you to use this on-premise.

SasiReddy,

Luke is correct that even if anything changes, it will take a long time before Data Hub can be removed from the Commerce Suite. In the future, Hybris Commerce will use SAP Cloud Platform Integration for most of its integration needs. We cannot commit to any specific timelines at the moment, but there is some work already under way to much more closely align with SAP's recommended integration solutions (SCPI).

Hi ,

I am trying to integrate SAP Hybris (1811) to SAP for Retail (ISR) using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (SCPI). Any good trail for this?

Hi SasiReddy,

This is enterprise software, the Data Hub feature, if it is replaced, will be deprecated for a long time before it is removed. It's not just going to disappear overnight.

So you'll have a long time to get to grips with the new integration solution, once it's made official.

Luke

Dear ,

Searching for an answer, I found a hybris help article about Dat, which is a Backoffice extension for XSD file of a type definition. This file can be used for mapping in SAP CPI.

Here is an URL to the article I'm writing about: https://help.hybris.com/6.6.0/hcd/b53769c0bd4248629a461f65fb70f2a1.html

Hope that helps

The Dat backoffice XSD extension was a preliminary foray into SCPI mapping, and will be replaced with a more robust approach in the future.
