Hello everyone,
we want to edit the search in SAP CCO, so that no inactive items are displayed.
Is there a possibility?
Kind regards
Daniele Trapani

Hello Daniele,
Yes, this is possible by completing an advanced search of the items in the CCO Search. You can specify which fields you would like to focus on (e.g. on inactive items) and the search will then display two tabs, one for active items and one for inactive items.

I hope this helps!
Kind regards,
Kellieanne

Hello Kellieanne,
thank you for your response but this way is not the solution I was looking for.
As soon as you add an item to the receipt, the search window closes.
In order to search the next item you than have to open the window again, click on advanced search and specify the fields again.
This is not user friendly.
-> We do not need inactive items in the CCO application. Why should we? This just causes confusion and slows the sales process.
We need a possibility to not see inactive items in the basic search.
Kind regards
Daniele
Hi Daniele,
This function which you have described is not currently available in CCO as standard but could be achieved as described by Robert. You can find more information on plugin development here - PartnerEdge.
If this is something you would like to see available within CCO in the future, I would recommend to open an improvement request on our CCO Influence channel here - https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign/1731.
You can find more information on the removal of inactive articles here - 2670178 - How to delete or inactivate an article or customer in the SAP Customer Checkout and here CCO Documentation.
Kind regards,
Kellieanne
Hi danieletrapani,
it's possible more or less. You can implement a entity search for items which is triggered with a quick selection button BUT you will lose the ability to use the extended search.
If this is ok with you I can provide a small example.
Regards
Robert
