Customer Receive Duplicate Emails - SAP Marketing Cloud

Hi Experts,

We run a recurring campaigns with 1 day of delay. Some of the customers received two emails in the same day in slot of times very closed. I think these happens because is not there configure Retention period. Is possible that when the campaigns is running manually rebuilds happens

As my understanding for avoid that we have two options

  • Configure a communication category of type of email with timeframe of 1 day
  • Set a retention period greater than the total duration of the campaign

What do you think about that?

I did not completly get your case, but I would not create a communication category, as you also need to assign the permission as subscriptions.

I would use the segmentation and check, if the contact already received the email of this campagin (within a time frame) and so exclude the contact from the target group.
