Customer menu from backoffice only shows B2B Customer

Hi All,

So we've encountered weird issue, when we open Customer from the backoffice context menu, sometimes it only shows B2B Customer model, the Customer model is not shown, and since we don't have any B2B customer model, it will show no data. (I know this because when I expand advanced search, it only shows B2B Customer instead of Customer, even though I open customer menu, not B2B Customer)

Same happen when we go from types -> search for customer -> search by type, it will only shows B2B Customer model.

But when we go from types -> search for user -> search by type, it will show all (employee, customer model, B2B customer model)

No error in console, so that makes me confused.

I'm using admin user to login to backoffice.

Have anyone encountered this issue? We're using SAP Commerce 2205.8

It might be related to a Search Restriction. What user are you using in Administration cockpit?

Please, verify the groups of the user you are using in Administration cockpit and check the active filters in in System > Personalization.

Also, enable the debug for FlexibleSearch in de.hybris.platform.jalo.flexiblesearch package and verify the exact query. If you find something, update the question with the details.

I'm logging in as admin user to backoffice.

If I login to HAC and do flexible search for Customer type, the results are there, but when I open Customer from backoffice, sometimes it only shows B2B Customer (I know this because when I expand the advanced search, I see B2B Customer on top)

Will try to debug it when we encountered that again, because, it's intermittent, and it will fix with a restart

Not yet, in yours did it always happens?

Locally we cannot reproduce this issue, but when deploying it to CCV2 this issue occurs .

Same thing for me, even though I didn't use CCv2, we're using on prem SAP Commerce. Happen on QA & staging environment, but not in local.

Did your version also 2205.8?

We are facing the same issue. Even if I navigate to Types-> Customer, it still shows only B2B Customers.

We are on 2105.19

So it's not version related issues. Still haven't figure out how to solve it

Its a bug in standard. SAP has fixed this in 2205 PL 10.

We end up just removing all B2B-related extensions, since we don't use any of it.
