Customer Integration C4C and ERP - Vendor Partner Functions

Hello SAP Guru´s,

I have a general question about the integration of C4C and SAP ERP.

How do you go about integrating customers if they have vendor partner roles (e.g. carrier).

Since vendors cant be created in C4C this partner function is ignored in the CPI-Mapping accordingly.

However, SAP standard integration does the following:

If I make a change to the customer in C4C and the change is transferred to the ERP via DEBMAS-IDOC, all partner

functions in the ERP are overwritten with the data from C4C.

And because the carrier is missing in C4C, this partner function is deleted in ERP. How can I prevent this ?

Do I have to correct this in the IDOC inbound processing via ABAP?

We are facing the same issue. Could you please give me more detail about your ERP extension? What is your solution to block the deletion of vendor's data even if will not come from C4C to ERP?

Hi Mehmet,

i am using BADI "IDOC_DATA_INSERT" to add the missing partner roles during the IDOC inbound processing of IDOC "DEBMAS".
