Hello SAP Guru´s,
I have a general question about the integration of C4C and SAP ERP.
How do you go about integrating customers if they have vendor partner roles (e.g. carrier).
Since vendors cant be created in C4C this partner function is ignored in the CPI-Mapping accordingly.
However, SAP standard integration does the following:
If I make a change to the customer in C4C and the change is transferred to the ERP via DEBMAS-IDOC, all partner
functions in the ERP are overwritten with the data from C4C.
And because the carrier is missing in C4C, this partner function is deleted in ERP. How can I prevent this ?
Do I have to correct this in the IDOC inbound processing via ABAP?
Thanks in advance.

Hello simondietrich,
You can replicate those vendors to C4C as Business Partners with a custom account role. So this issue can be resolved. If this doesnt work, then enhancement in CPI or ERP is the only option.

Hi manideepsatya ,
we are working in an ERP Scenario( no S4H ).
So we dont have any business partners yet.
And replicating vendors with tcode BD12 is not possible.
I solved the problem with a extension in the ERP.
Regards.
