A very common requirement is to have the customer view only the products that they are eligible to purchase. The data source for managing customer eligibility is in the S4 system using material status and listing / exclusion. These have to be read from the back end system into Hybris since the S4 system is the system of records.
There are two questions:
a. How do we read the eligibility criteria from the back end and publish a customer catalog for Hybris?
b. The Listing / Exclusion functionality in S4 does not have change pointers. In such a scenario, how do we ensure that any changes made in the backend system are picked up and sent up to the Hybris customer catalog ?
