Custom CDS view in Reports and analytics in Hybris Marketing Onpremise

Dear All,

We have a requirement to see our custom queries in Reports and Analytics view of sap HybrisMarketing Onpremise

As I found we need to create custom CDS view, but I do not know how can I see my custom CDS view in Reports gallery?

I have created custom CDS view in HANA STUDIO but I do not know how to add it in reports gallery.

Also I did not find any document related to Onpremise, all documents are talking about Cloud

Can anyone help me please abou this?

Hi,

This can be done using following steps assuming you are having 1709 SP01 OnPrem yMkt system;

1. Create a custom CDS view.

2. Create a Custom Analytical Query using "Query Design" workset for CDS view created.

3. Go to "Extensibility and Adaptability"-->"Analytics and Report Gallery - List" app and look for query create in step 2.

4. Choose assign button and make the assignment.(Snapshot Attached)

Just one question, what is "Query Design"? because I can not see it in our UI.
Should I give some Roles to user to see this workset? Or it is another app seperated from UI?

Sorry Sepide, My bad that I got into a cloud system.Process will remain the same but not sure how we can create Analytical Query in OnPrem system since "Query Design" is not available as part of std onPrem delivery..

I can check here with my colleagues and come back in case i findout the solution.

Hi,

I got the response as follow:

Unfortunately, Design Studio still not available in On-Prem. Customers have to use the ABAP-Backend transactions to build custom queries. This needs to be done using ABAP in Eclipse. Currently we only support ABAB-based CDS in Marketing.

So when did you get that response that it is not available for onprem yet?

I got this response on the same day around 15th June. So you mean to say Design Studio for Analytics is now available with OnPrem as well?

According to the other topic it should be...

However in my onprem system, a screen with title "Design Studio" opens, but accompanied with a message bubble saying there's 6 errors... something about inactive services and not-found data sources... So I have a ticket to try and make this work.
