CSV-Import for Custom Fields

Hi Experts,

we want to import data via CSV into a custom field (in this case for a Corporate Account), which is a codelist.

So there is the field YY1_CUSTOMFIELD_MCP for the code and the field YY1_CUSTOMFIELD_MCPT for the description.

Via the new Data File Load app it is only possible to import data to the MCP field. I'm not able to use the description field in the dropdown.

That means that the marketing team always has to know all the codes values for every custom field and is not able to import the description.

Does anyone know if there's a solution or a workaround for that? Am I doing something wrong? Is it even possible to fill directly the MCPT field without the MCP field?

Hi schneidert,

I created the same scenario in our internal system and found the same behavior!

It's not possible to use YY1_xyz_MCPT in the Data File Load app.
