CSV file upload - Marketing Cloud

Hello,

As a part of standard CSV file upload SAP Marketing cloud allows the below list

Corporate Accounts, Contacts, Account Team Members, Product Categories, Products, Interactions, Interactions: List of Fields Available for CSV, Interests, Marketing Locations, Marketing Beacons, Custom Business Objects, Actual and Committed Spend, Campaign Success, Permissions and Subscriptions, Survey

but if we need to upload target groups is it possible, the reason is we use external source to send emails from campaigns. To have sycn between the systems we we can create campaigns using CSV load but also want to create target groups using CSV load is it possible if possible can u pls guide me?

If instead of using the Data File Load app, you use the Import button on the Contacts app, there is a box "create target group", then you can have your contacts uploaded an immediately also have them in a target group.

as Saurabh already mentioned, creating Target Groups via CSV upload is not possible. Same applies for campaigns, so how do you create them via CSV?

Usually you also create them via UI or using API: https://api.sap.com/api/API_MKT_CAMPAIGN_SRV_0002/resource

Hi,

As of today, Target Group cannot be uploaded using CSV/XLS import. Either you can create them via UI or load them from external system using public API API_MKT_TARGET_GROUP_SRV.
