CRM SQM2 Queue

Hi

I've just been into SQM2 to fix a transaction which had the error: "Document is being distributed - changes are not possible". When checking the queue we have over 400 entries, can I check what would be causing this and how best to get rid of these? If i was to activate all queues what could i expect to be the outcome?

Thanks for your help.

SQM2 doesnt exist in CRM. You probably mean SMQ2 Inbound Queue?

Did you check also SMQ1, SMW01 and ST22 in CRM and also SMQ1, SMQ2 and ST22 in ERP, I assume you are replicating documents between CRM and ERP?

About that queue for the document with the error:

  • what is the queue's name?
  • what is the queues status (READY, RUNNING, SYSFAIL, ...)?
  • If SYSFAIL, what is the error text?
  • where is the queue content coming from (Sender-Id, is it e.g. ERP)?
  • is the queue-name or destination registered in SMQR or SMQS, so it replicates automatically?
  • If you activate that specific queue, does it get executed and is successful ('disappears' from queue) or stops with an error and do you see more about the error in ST22

It depends on what is the functional requirement. Obviously somebody registered this object to be replicated, thats why the queue entries are being generated in the first place. You have not given enough information about the queue, to give you a good answer. But in general, if queues are appearing in SMQ1 and SMQ2, they are normally meant to be executed and be successfull, and deleting them might end in data inconsistencies.
