CRM issue with Phone number fields in contact record while updating

When entering a new/update phone number in the contact record, via the CRM Web UI, it will delete the original Phone number or Mobile Number when saving or pressing enter. See attached for the screen shots of two scenarios.

This only just started to happen after an SPS update. Our Sandbox client does not have the SPS update. We confirmed the issue does NOT happen in our Sandbox environment.

We went from SPS CRM Version 7.0 EHP 03 SPS 13 to SPS CRM Version 7.0 EHP 03 SPS 20

Any notes or ways to fix this?

Hi Elisa,

you can try implementing note 2981128. We had the exact same problem after upgrading CRM a few weeks ago and were able to fix it with this note.

Hi Elisa,

did you verified the issue by testing with ignoring custom enhancements (and therefore conclude this is related to standard SAP)?

If so, you should create a ticket/chat session with OSS.

We are using standard SAP for Contact Records. We do not have any customization.
