Creation date in Golden Record in SAP Marketing

Hi,

can anyone elaborate on how the Creation date-time is handled in the golden record (the datetime set in CUAND_CE_IC_ROOT)? Thought that the priority of the Facet would define which timestamp would be recorded for the GR… but from practical tests it does not seem to be the case… even earliest / latest creation timestamp of Facet does not seem to be the case…

Hi Stefan,

the creation timestamp of the best record is basically the point in time when the best record gets created by the very first import of corresponding data (so it does not depend on any timestamps specified externally; it's a system timestamp).

Best regards,

We have a use case where want to have the creation date of a specific facet as being the creation date for the contact.

Our use case integrates with SAP Loyalty.

Users obtain a loyalty card and afterwards register this card on a website.

In our marketing application, the facet (Loyalty data) is onboarded first, since we need to enable the cards to be used. The customer registers via the website later, giving a new facet. However the golden record will set the creation date to the loyalty facet.

We export the contact data (via export definition) to a third party provider, but we're not able to get the creation date of the web registration in the export (since the CREA_DATE is the one of the golden record).

Is there another way to achieve this, besides adding a new custom field and populate this on web registration date)?
