Let's say we have 50000 customers. If we split them to 5 segments by 10k randomly and save each as a target group, will system ensure that one customer does not repeat in multiple segments? I mean that each of randomly generated segments will have unique set of customers?

Hi mariss. ,
Bruno is right, but you need to be careful with dynamic target groups.
Dynamic target groups refresh themselves every time the assigned campaign is executed. During the refresh the whole segmentation model is re-calculated. As a result your random split will be re-calculated as well. This will lead to a new distribution of contacts between your 5 segments.
Therefore the random split should be used very carefully as seed list or control group in always-on campaigns with dynamic target groups.

Hi Maris.
Yes, SAP Marketing will create multiples segments based on Percent size or Count size, contacts will be randomly split.
Contacts will not be duplicated between created segments.
