Creating and generate PDF reports in SAP Commerce (Hybris)

Hello,

We are using Hybris 2211 version on CCV2 cloud.

Currently we rely on JasperReports template that is used to define the structure and layout to generate PDF reports in Hybris. But we would like to redesign the PDFs generated as jasper reports are set up in Table format that are resulting into big spaces between text/paragraphs.

Is there any way we can handle and reduce the spaces between texts in jasper reports?

As our original requirement is to generate PDFs reports in hybris, are there any guidelines or design restrictions of creating PDFs in Hybris besides JasperReports.

Any suggestions or documentation links would be helpful.

Hello 

I am not sure how you are updating the jasper templates. If you use jasper studio.. you can add dummy values to report and generate the output document to see how SAP Hybris will generate the output document.

I believe Jasper templates are integrated in Hybris OOTB suite. Is that correct?
It would be helpful if there is any documentation on how Hybris and Jasper templates are integrated and how we can make changes in jasper template using jasper studio and how to verify the output.
