creating a Rule

Dear SAP

On Contract, does is possible to create the Rule on Item level? not on the Root Level (Not using CAS)

I created the incident, but they could not give me the correct answer, and tell me to post on the Forum

does anyone knows how to?

Hi,

Rules are always created at the UI Component level irrespective of Header or Item node. Hence at first, you need to create a field in Contract "UI Component" to evaluate the condition and then associate the same rule with1 or more fields including header and item level.

Note: In the past, I had faced an issue that I was unable to evaluate the condition based on item level fields as it contains 0:N cardinality, not sure it holds true even today.
