Hello,
is it possible to use or create a time hierarchy on an own data source inside C4C?
If yes, please explain how to do that.
I try to use the data source GREGDATEB as reference in my ds...
Thx a lot
Holger

Hi Holger
While this may not be possible for Cloud Data Sources, you could try this in PDI. If you create your Data Source in PDI, you can use transformations on Date fields to extract Month, Month-Year using DateToMonth or DateToYearMonth. Without date transformations, the date fields would behave as exact date fields only

Hi Dedeepya,
thx for your answer.
My DS is not a standard DS from SAP, it is a own:
BUDAT as DATE, KUNNR as CHAR, NTGEW as QUANTITY, NETWR as AMOUNT
Based on the BUDAT column i would like to create a time hierarchy,
year, month, day, quarter.....

Hi Holger
Are you looking at Time Based reporting on Sales Objects - Opportunity / Sales Orders etc.?
For this it is not necessary to create a TIME Based Data Source, but you can leverage the Date & Time Characteristics available within each of the standard Sales - Oppt, Sales Order, etc. Data Sources.
Individual Report Views - Based on Month or Year or Day could be generated for a specific visualization.
