Create ticket from incoming email

Hello,

When i set up a new email channel to create tickets from incoming mails if i choose to assign tickets to the Default Customer how will i know the real client who sent the request in the first place (His name , email address) ?

Can someone explain to me the use of this option : assign tickets to a default customer.

Dear oumaima-kharrat,

Once the Ticket is created with default Customer, one option maybe to open the E-Mail Activity which created the Ticket in Activities > E-Mails work center view, then refer the Account field.

It is not possible to directly view on the Ticket as far as I'm aware.

You would need to navigate to the Document Flow tab of the Ticket and find the e-mail activity that created the Ticket. When you open it, it should show the Account.
